Also known as “tooth caps”, dental crowns are placed over an existing tooth to protect it from further damage and fortify your smile. Here at Re:Nu Dental & Medispa, crowns are carefully crafted to suit your smile and be authentic-looking.
What happens during treatment for teeth crowns?
We will examine the tooth to establish how damaged it is and if a filling is needed before we fit you with a crown. We will then take impressions of the tooth that needs to be crowned, and of neighbouring teeth, and these can be used by the dental technician to create your beautifully-crafted tooth crown.
Why choose a crown to repair a damaged tooth?
- Crowns are versatile, repairing damaged, decayed and discoloured teeth
- Re:Nu Dental & Medispa create well-made teeth crowns that will look and feel like natural teeth
- The shade and shape are made to be in-keeping with your smile
- Dental crowns – or tooth caps – can last a number of years, if properly cared for. They can be looked after in the same way as a normal tooth, which means brushing twice a day, flossing once a day and attending bi-annual dentist and hygienist appointments
