Tooth bridges have been used in dentistry for many years and provide a solution to missing teeth by literally ‘bridging’ the gap that exists. An excellent solution for teeth replacement, dental bridges work by fixing an artificial tooth to a natural tooth and are made from metal and/or porcelain.
What happens during treatment for a dental bridge?
We will invite you to a consultation appointment where we can discuss what the advantages of having a tooth bridge are and what is involved with treatment. Following this, we can create impressions of your teeth, which will give your dentist an insight into your bite. This allows us to prepare the teeth that will support your bridge. Your bridge will be made in the dental lab off-site and we will invite you back to the practice to have it fitted and make any minor adjustments necessary.
Why choose a dental bridge?
- Effective and economical solution for teeth replacement
- Improve your quality of life by restoring your ability to eat and speak with confidence
- Created with your smile in mind – the artificial teeth will be created to suit the shade of your existing teeth
